Taney County collaborated with a team of partners last week to test 340 people for COVID-19.
All 340 test results were negative. The test program was done after the Missouri Department of Health Senior Services selected Taney COunty to participate in a Point-in-Time COVID-19 test count.
Taney County Health Department still recommends that the community continue to practice social distancing, such as wearing a mask when in public, washing hands for 20 seconds, disinfecting surfaces, staying 6 feet or more from others and staying home if sick.
