The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says a couple found death in a burning home in Battlefield was the result of a murder-suicide.
Firefighters found the bodies of Shawna and Don Kipp at their home on January 27 of this year.
Investigators say Shawna Kipp was shot eight times in the master bedroom and Don Kipp in a recliner with one shot to his head.
Detectives found a gun in Don’s hand and shell casings on the floor.
Fire investigators say the fire started in the master bedroom.
