Missouri gas prices are the highest they’ve been since 2014, according to AAA.
The statewide gas price average in Missouri is $2.82 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, and is 94 cents more per gallon compared to this day last year.
Drivers in Columbia are paying the most on average at $2.89.
Meanwhile, drivers in Cape Girardeau are paying the least at $2.74 per gallon.
Last year, gas was $1.84 in Springfield.
Data presented by AAA shows that the Missouri statewide average price has risen to its highest level since November 2014, and may rise another 10-20 cents through the month of August.
