Upcoming Events:
Back on Track America will be hosting an event on Critical Race Theory (CRT) next week. The CRT event will be held Monday, August 16th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at 3146 S. Golden Ave Springfield, MO 65807 (South of Battlefield on East Side of Golden). Topics that will be discussed include:
- The origins and racist teaching of CRT
- What CRT aligned policies and instruction look like in Missouri schools
- Actions you can take to ensure you student is educated in the classical sense and not indoctrinated with neo-Marxist ideology.
There will also be a rally on Saturday, August 14th, for front line workers who don’t want to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The rally will be held in front of Mercy from 5-8 p.m.
Public Schools:
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown signed a bill last month that drops the requirement that high school students prove proficiency in reading, writing or math, before graduation.

The Republic School District announced that masks will be required during the upcoming school year.
Parents will be meeting at the next school board meeting to discuss this issue. The meeting will be held Thursday, August 19th, at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Training Room – 518 N. Hampton.
Meanwhile, Nixa also announced their back to school plan. The Nixa School Board is saying no to a mask mandate for the school district.

Fake News:
CNN recently promoted the story of a “mom” of three young children who was nervous about being evicted amid the federal eviction moratorium. The liberal network even pushed a GoFundMe to help her cover the rent – but it turns out she wasn’t the mother after all.
Speaking of fake news… A video emerged of a Colorado Rockies fan yelling at the team mascot, Dinger. “Journalists,” and even the Colorado Rockies as a whole claimed that the fan was saying the “n” word.
