Afghanistan:

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was caught flat-footed during the daily press briefing when she was asked about a group of California students who are trapped in Afghanistan.

An explosion has been reported Thursday outside of Kabul’s airport. It’s not clear how many people are potentially injured or killed. Last night, there were 5,000 Afghans and potentially some Americans outside Abbey Gate at the airport.

Larry Elder:

Nick suggests a documentary for you to watch called Uncle Tom.  In a collection of intimate interviews with some of America’s most provocative black conservative thinkers, Uncle Tom takes a different look at being black in America. Featuring media personalities, ministers, civil rights activists, veterans, and a self-employed plumber, the film explores their personal journeys of navigating the world as one of America’s most misunderstood political and cultural groups: The American Black Conservative.

The recall in California is in full swing. Out of the dozens of contenders that will appear on the California ballot, one, in particular, has become the frontrunner to replace Newsom if the recall vote is a success: longtime conservative radio host Larry Elder.

And of course, the media is trying to destroy him.

Ronny Jackson:

Doctor Ronny Jackson is a retired Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. He retired from the military on December 1st, 2019, after 25 years of Active Duty service to his country. His last duty assignment was at the White House, where he served as Assistant to the President and as the appointed Chief Medical Advisor to President Donald J. Trump.

Trump Era Policy:

The Supreme Court Tuesday declined the Biden administration’s request to block a lower court order keeping the Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum-seekers in place.

Oregon:

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown announced Tuesday that masks will be required in public outdoor spaces regardless of vaccination status, starting Friday.

Ashli Babbitt:

The Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot will step forward Thursday after the government previously declined to identify him.
