One of the flyover ramps at James River and Highway 65 in Springfield was shut down Tuesday morning after a crash left a semi hanging by one of its front wheels.
Crews closed the eastbound to northbound ramp and diverted traffic after the crash but the roads were reopened around 1:15 p.m.
The trailer of the big rig is on the highway, but the cab itself was in the air for a while.
A wrecker was able to get the truck off the concrete wall on the flyover ramp just before noon.
About 100 gallons of fuel reportedly spilled after the crash.
No word yet on the driver’s condition.
