Vaccine Mandate:
A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the last of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates for businesses, saying the government exceeded its authority with a requirement that millions of employees of federal contractors be inoculated.
AG Eric Schmitt issued a warning to Missouri schools and health departments that legal action will be taken if they do not stop enforcing COVID-19 related health orders.
St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones and AG Eric Schmitt battled it out on Twitter over the letters.
Tishaura Jones wrote, “Please help us! Our Attorney General @Eric_Schmitt is literally trying to kill us!”
Schmitt fired back: “You’re the mayor of the murder capital of the United States, violent crime rages on and you want to defund the police and yet you’re obsessed with the forced masking of 5 year olds. Your administration and priorities are a total disaster.”
A teacher at a Pennsylvania high school who was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Education Association, posted a Facebook message that people who obtained religious exemptions so they could remain unvaccinated for COVID-19 should lose their jobs, get sick, and perhaps die, adding that the GOP should take the “guns they profess to love” and start shooting the unvaccinated individuals.
