(KTTS News) — Monica Horton will be sworn tonight at the Springfield City Council meeting.
Council chose Horton to fill the vacant Zone 1 council seat.
It was left vacant after Angela Romine decided to run for state office.
Horton has worked as CEO of Lenica Consulting.
She also served as a music professor at Drury University.
