(KTTS News) — The Highway Patrol issued a Blue Alert this morning after a police was shot during a traffic stop in North Kansas City.
The officer suffered serious injuries.
Troopers say the driver of a gray Ford Taurus left the car and fired at the officer near 21st and Clay streets.
