(KTTS News) — It’s been 20 years since the May 4, 2003 tornado outbreak.

Supercell thunderstorms produced 15 tornadoes and left 25 people dead.

Major damage was reported in Franklin, Carl Junction, Stockton and Pierce City.

Several of the tornadoes were rated F3, with the biggest being an F4 that hit Girard, Kansas and Liberal, Missouri.
