(KTTS News) – The City of Republic has opened a new traffic roundabout that local residents have been waiting for at a busy intersection.
The roundabout at Hines Street and Lynn Avenue was completed about two weeks ahead of schedule.
It was funded by a quarter cent sales tax that was approved in 2017.
City officials hope the roundabout will cut down on the number of accidents at the intersection.
