(KTTS News) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a Laclede County crash that killed a woman from Republic on Saturday.
The crash happened on I-44 near the 123.8 mile marker by Lebanon around 1:15 AM.
42-year-old Crystal Hassett was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver over-corrected and overturned, ejecting Hassett.
Hassett was lying in the middle of the interstate when a vehicle hit her and kept driving westbound.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is looking for the vehicle and believe it’s a black or dark colored SUV. If you have any information, you’re being asked to call MSHP Troop I.
