(KTTS News) — Drought conditions are getting worse across Missouri.
The Department of Natural Resources issued a drought alert because more than 80-percent of Missouri is now affected by dry conditions.
About nine-percent of the state is dealing with extreme drought.
The state’s Drought Assessment Meeting will meet Wednesday to talk about how the drought is affecting crops and livestock.
