(KTTS News) — There are some traffic changes in effect today as work continues on the Kansas Expressway Extension project in south Springfield.
Traffic at the intersection of Kansas and Plainview has been changed to an all-way stop.
Before the change, eastbound and westbound traffic on Plainview did not have to stop.
Crews are still working behind the scenes to complete Phase 1 of the project.
Kansas between Plainview and Weaver Road is scheduled to open on Friday.
