(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – A radio DJ was killed Wednesday during the Kansas City Chiefs victory rally that ended with at least 22 others injured.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan worked for KKFI 90.1 FM.

The station released a statement saying, “It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that KKFI DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, host of Taste of Tejano lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs’ rally. Our hearts and prayers are with her family. We encourage anyone who feels they saw something to reach out to law enforcement at 816 234 5111. This senseless act has taken a beautiful person from her family and this KC Community.”

Nine children were among the 22 injured by gunfire on Wednesday. Police say the children range from 6 to 15.

Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City said that none of the children are in critical condition, and they are all expected to recover.

Kansas City Police said that three people were arrested, and at least one weapon was recovered.
