(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) -A wind advisory and red flag warning has been issued for today.
Both are in effect until 9 PM Tuesday night.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
The National Weather Service recommends that you avoid activities with open flames or sparks, properly discard cigarettes, and obey burn bans.
