It’s that time of year again! We have compiled a list of fall festivals happening all across the Ozarks! If you have an event that you would like to add to the list, email Sarah at Sarah.Myers@ksgf.com.

Japanese Fall Festival 

Sept. 6-8

The Japanese Fall Festival is a celebration of authentic Japanese culture highlighting Springfield’s sister city relationship with Isesaki, Japan (formed in 1986). Each year, a delegation of Isesaki citizens travels to Springfield to contribute to the festival through demonstrations and interactions with attendees.

Seymour Apple Festival 

Sept. 12-14

Enjoy free live music, food and crafts from dozens of vendors, and events and contests open for all ages!

Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City

Sept. 13 – Oct. 26

Experience the delights of autumn days gone by as the hills come alive with vivid color, the smells of apple and pumpkin treats waft through the streets and the sounds of thrilling rides like Time Traveler® and Outlaw Run® fill the air with adventure. After sundown, family favorite Pumpkins in the City presented by Mercy illuminates the evening sky with the glorious glow of thousands of pumpkins and towering carved masterpieces standing over 30 feet tall!

MO Food Truck Festival

Sept. 14

Food trucks and foodies will gather September 14, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri for the 10th Annual Missouri Food Truck Festival & Competition.

This is a one-day event featuring the best food trucks, carts and trailers from around the state of Missouri and beyond. Featuring the brightest and most inspired street chefs bringing everything from Burgers, BBQ, Tacos, Italian, Asian, and sweet treats, plus live music on stage, and vendors.

Marionville Apple Fest

Sept. 20-21

Head to Marionville for their annual Apple Fest! This is a community festival with hundreds of craft booths, delicious food, and kids games. There is also a free carnival for the kiddos to enjoy!

Cider Days

Sept. 21-22

Cider Days on Historic Walnut Street returns September 21-22, 2024, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. The two-day fall festival will feature regional artists and crafters, live music, performances, incredible food and — of course — delicious apple cider!

Wilder Days

Sept. 27-28

Commemorating Laura Ingalls Wilder, Carl Mays, and Mansfield History! Wilder Days will be held in the park square. This family friendly event will have craft booths, delicious food, and much more!

Fair Grove Heritage Reunion 2024

Sept. 28-29

The Fair Grove Historical and Preservation Society organizes and hosts an annual craft fair every year, on the last full weekend in September. This is by far the biggest annual event, with tens of thousands of people attending and enjoying the sights, sounds and food each day.  Attendance is free!

33rd Annual Pumpkin Daze Fall Festival

Oct. 4-5

The sole purpose of the Pumpkin Daze Fall Festival is to raise funds for scholarships and community grants. Head to Republic to enjoy hundreds of craft booths, live music, food, and so much more! 

Ozark Fall Farmfest

Oct. 4-6

The Ozark Fall Farmfest is held annually on the first weekend of October at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield. With over 1,000 agricultural and rural living exhibits and more than 600 head of registered livestock on display, it has become the Ozarks’ largest agricultural event.

50th Annual Ozark Craft Fair

Oct. 4-6

This event has been a meeting ground for family & friends for almost a half century.
Enjoy a weekend of  fun, food, shopping & craftsmanship in Ozark.  The event is held at Finley River Park.

Harvest Fest at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park

Every Saturday & Sunday Oct. 7-29

A Midwest fall tradition! Join the Harvest Fest party on weekends with hayrides, cow train, inflatables, pony rides, kettle corn and more. Meander through the corn maze and check out our new feature, Barnyard Races, giant human-power hamster wheels on a track system. Harvest Fest happens on Saturdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays, 12-6 p.m., Oct. 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-29.

Apple Butter Makin’ Days

Oct. 11-13

​Apple Butter Makin’ Days, one of Missouri’s most popular festivals, has been hosted on the courthouse square in Mt. Vernon each October since 1967. The main attraction is, of course, apple butter! There will be live music, food vendors, Weiner dog races, and so much more!

Maple Leaf Festival in Carthage

Oct. 11-19

The Maple Leaf Festival  began in 1966 as a marching band competition. Since then, volunteers have come together to organize an event to celebrate the beauty of the fall foliage of the maple-leaf trees. The City of Carthage, known as America’s Maple Leaf City, hosts one of the region’s biggest festivals, drawing over 65,000 visitors in October to pay homage to this historic festival.
