CBS News 60 Minutes had an interesting gun control segment. CBS reports, “There’s only one gun store in Mexico. It’s located on a heavily guarded military base in Mexico City. Before customers can enter, they must show proof of passing psychological tests, drug screenings, and extensive background checks.”

This report seems to omit that Mexico’s homicide rate is 3X that of the United States on a per capita basis despite the US having significantly more guns.
