WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said his administration is will transfer responsibility for the federal government’s student loan portfolio from the Department of Education to the Small Business Administration.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump also said Health and Human Services Department will administer special needs and nutrition programs.
