(KTTS News) — The last of seven inmates who escaped from the Barry County Jail in June is now back behind bars.
Mario Che Tiul was arrested in Pennsylvania by the U.S. Marshals Service and is awaiting extradition back to Missouri.
The Barry County Sheriff says the inmate got a job as a laborer while avoiding capture.
Inmates have escaped from the jail both last year and this year.
A new jail is under construction.
It should be completed in August 2024.
