What is going on in Fair Grove with the police department?
Last week, the head of the Fair Grove police force — who was hired less than eight months ago — was placed on administrative leave. Fair Grove has now had 4 police chiefs since 2020.
Although the Greene County Sheriff’s Office earlier said it had no involvement with the Fair Grove police chief being put on administrative leave last week, Sheriff Jim Arnott did in fact consult with the Fair Grove Board of Aldermen on the situation.
