Former Walmart President and Kansas City Royals owner David Glass has died after complications from pneumonia.
Glass was 84.
Glass made a name for himself serving as Walmart’s President and CEO before buying the Royals.
The team made it to two consecutive World Series, winning it all in 2015.
Glass and his family sold the team late last year.

Glass was originally from Mt. View.
He earned a business degree from Missouri State University in Springfield.
I learned this afternoon of the passing of one of the giants in @MissouriState history, David Glass. He was a gentle, humble, generous and kind man who loved his university and attributed much of his success to the education he received there. We will all miss him. pic.twitter.com/geRFxSowe9
