One man is dead after a pedestrian crash in the 1900 block of Old Orchard Avenue in north Springfield.

Springfield Police say Trampus Bell was hit by a pickup backing out of a residence early Saturday morning.

He was 44 years old. Police believe the driver of the pickup may have been intoxicated.
