Wings Over The Ozarks Air Show Announced For Memorial Day

The Branson Airport Jet Center says it will be holding an air show festival in support of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club on Memorial Day.

(BRANSON, MISSOURI – April 28, 2021) This Memorial Day, join the Tri-Lakes area community for an air show festival full of hair-raising aerobatic thrills that will benefit the lives of area youth.

The free event will be held Monday, May 31st at the Branson Airport Jet Center, 130 Wright Brothers Road in Hollister, Missouri. Donations for The Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks will be accepted at the event. The air show and festivities will begin at 11:00 am with flying acts scheduled throughout the day until 6:00 pm.

World-renowned aerobatic pilot Mike “Spanky” Galloway will headline the airshow in his Extra 300, with additional aerobatics from Stephen Covington flying his Pitts S2S Biplane, The Raptor. Capping off these two world-class performers is Justin Lewis, a former Navy Pilot, in an FLS MicroJet, the World’s Smallest Jet, which has been thrilling airshow audiences all over the world.

Rounding out the day, in addition to five air show acts, will be live music on stage from favorite local bands and others, food trucks, kids activities, bounce houses, craft vendors, collector car show, Tomahawk Tailgating video games and music, the Wil Fischer Beer & Wine Garden VIP Area, and more.
Jeff Bourk, Executive Director of Branson Airport stated, “This event is one that we are all looking forward to. It will feature incredible flying acts, some awesome local bands and just a great way to spend Memorial Day honoring our Veterans.”
