Tragedy in Kabul:
Yesterday, at least 13 members of the U.S. military were killed and an additional 15 were injured as a result of the bombings at Kabul airport.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki dismissed calls for President Joe Biden to resign in the wake of a terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan that killed 13 U.S. service members, saying that there’s no room for politics in the discussion of the tragedy.
Red Cross:
On Monday, August 30th, there will be a blood drive. The drive will be held at the American Legion Post 69 at the Lower Bingo Hall.
March For Freedom Rally:
There will be another March For Freedom Rally this Saturday (the 28th) outside of Mercy. This rally is for front line workers to take a stand against a mandated COVID-19 vaccine, as well as those who don’t support another mask mandate. The rally runs from 5-8 p.m.
