Pride Month: 

At least seven major multinational companies changed their social media logos to rainbows as June began for “Pride Month.” The companies notably failed to update logos on their Middle East and Asian pages, where LGBT people face the most oppression.

Riots in America: 

Federal prosecutors, in a plea agreement letter sent to an individual charged in the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, revealed that the incident resulted in about $1.5 million in damages, and the government wants those involved to pay the bill.

Meanwhile, the damage from riots and looting across the U.S. following the death of George Floyd is estimated to be the costliest in insurance history – between $1 billion and $2 billion.

COVID-19 Origin: 

State Department leaders were warned not to pursue an investigation into the origins of COVID-19, former department officials confirmed to Fox News, amid fears that it would bring attention to U.S. funding of research at the Wuhan Institute where the virus may have escaped.

Defunding The Police: 

Law enforcement in North Carolina city that cut the police budget last year will no longer respond to some crimes. The Asheville Police Department released a list of what they will no longer be able to respond to amid staffing shortages and budget cuts.

  • Minimal damage and/or graffiti to property where there is no suspect information
