(KTTS News) — The Benton County, Arkansas Sheriff’s Office say a doctor reported missing in Cassville more than a week ago died from an apparent gunshot wound.
A kayaker found the body of a Dr. John Forsyth Tuesday afternoon.
Forsyth was found in the water on Beaver Lake near Lost Bridge South.
Forsyth was last seen alive at Mercy Hospital in Cassville on May 21.
